🌟 RootsCamp Scholarships: Making Attendance Accessible for All 🌟
RootsCamp has always been about creating a space for changemakers to unite, learn, and inspire one another. We’re working hard to ensure that no one is left out due to financial barriers, and we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our RootsCamp Scholarship Program. We recognize that the individual ticket price of $500, coupled with additional travel and accommodation costs, makes this conference unaffordable to many whose voices we want to ensure are represented at RootCamp. We want to have diverse, representative voices, including many who any campaign or organization no longer employs.
Our Commitment
We’re raising sponsorship funds to help waive fees for attendees who need assistance, especially:
Recently, unemployed professionals worked full-time on campaigns or in organizations during the 2024 election cycle.
Activists, students, and volunteers who want to be part of this transformative event but face financial constraints.
What Support Is Available?
Depending on the funds raised and individual needs, scholarship support may include:
Event fee waivers
Travel stipends or reimbursements (e.g., airfare, mileage, public transit)
Overnight accommodations (limited availability)
Travel logistics assistance (on a case-by-case basis)
While we hope to meet as many needs as possible, the final number of scholarships will depend on the generosity of sponsors and donors.

How to Apply
To help us understand your needs, the scholarship application form asks for:
Contact Information (name, email, phone).
Role During the 2024 Elections (campaign/organization name, role, dates of employment).
Current Employment Status (employed, unemployed, volunteer, etc.).
Travel Details (your location, travel plans).
Support is needed (fee waiver, travel reimbursement, accommodations, logistics help).
