RootsCamp Update 12/9/24
Save The Dates - It is happening
There has been a lot of energy around bringing back RootsCamp, so I’m excited to share that we’re doing it. We’re not quite ready for registration yet, but we can tell you the dates and location. We plan RootsCamp to be at the Maritime Conference Center near the BWI airport from January 23-25, 2025. We hope this is an affordable and convenient location for a critical mass of folks interested in attending in person. We’ll share many more details this week about some of the partners committed already, such as registration, how to submit panels, and much more. For folks interested in being on our organizing committee, please join our weekly call at 4 pm ET on Zoom tomorrow Dec 10th.
To make this happen, we need many sponsors, partners, and other volunteers. Here are some handy links to ways you can get involved.

Submit a proposal after reviewing the RFP to be part of the full-time (short-term) organizing team.
